IT logistics that works.

Senior IT project and product management for SAP-based transport, warehouse and interface processes – from initial requirements through to handover to operations.

How I can help

Optimising transport processes:

Aligning planning, dispatching, execution and billing so that deliveries meet their deadlines, costs remain transparent and disruptions become rare – from route planning through to final delivery.

Stabilising warehouse processes:

From goods receipt to despatch: clear roles, clean postings, short walking distances and reliable throughput times – even in peak periods.

Securing interfaces and data flows:

Connecting systems and partners in a robust way – with clear data design, tested integrations (including EDI, third-party logistics systems, SAP PI/PO, SAP BTP), monitoring and defined escalation paths.

In addition, I support you with strategic topics – from an IT logistics roadmap and the introduction of new software through to automation, mobility, IoT and sustainable logistics solutions.

About me

Kunaal Malhotra

Senior IT project and product manager – SAP logistics & transport – independent IT consultant in the logistics domain

Over 13 years’ experience in IT and SAP-based logistics: transport management, inventory and distribution processes, EDI/integration and mobile hardware solutions.
I translate logistics requirements into robust IT solutions, accompany new software implementations and manage projects from requirements analysis and roadmap via budgeting and vendor management through to rollout, cutover, hypercare and handover to operations – clear, direct and execution-focused.

Project and product management with PRINCE2 (Practitioner & Agile) and Scrum/Kanban.

Focus areas: transport, warehousing, track & trace, integrations and mobile logistics solutions.

Selected results

Transport:

Moving from repeated planning failures to stable routes with improved on-time performance and transparent control of transport costs.

Warehousing:

Fewer posting errors and significantly shorter throughput times – goods receipt, picking and despatch remain under control even at peak times.

Interfaces:

Stable data flows between SAP, track and trace, third-party and carrier systems – fewer disruptions and faster recovery when issues occur.

Rollout:

Controlled cutover with clear roles, a prepared hypercare phase and clean handovers into steady-state operations instead of a go-live in “fire-fighting mode”.

What you can expect
Service – delivered reliably

End-to-end-responsibility:

From requirements and roadmap through delivery to cutover/hypercare and handover to operations – one coherent chain without gaps.

Outcome-focussed delivery:

Hybrid implementation approaches (classic/agile), applied pragmatically – lean processes with a clear focus on impact rather than bureaucracy.

Strong steering capabilites:

Stakeholder and vendor management, creating decision readiness, transparent communication and robust escalation paths.

Quality and measurability:

KPIs, definition of done, documented handovers and sustainable results rather than just “project closure”.

International and scalable:

Distributed teams, multilingual collaboration, clear roles and routines – proven in the DACH region and Benelux.

Cost transparency & savings potential:

Together we identify cost drivers in your supply chain, make their impact visible and derive concrete measures – from process adjustments through to IT-supported automation.

Future-readiness & innovation:

I support you in building an IT logistics roadmap, in innovation management and in selecting and implementing automation, mobility and IoT solutions in your logistics environment.
